New Niece

I absolutely love my family. I am truly grateful that I grew up in such a great home with wonderful parents who taught us the gospel and who taught us a great work ethic. I am the oldest of 4 children. My sister, Robin is 18 months younger than me and she lives in Texas. I miss her so much and truly wish she lived closer. She has 2 great kids. Aaron & Amanda who are both in college. (wow that makes me feel old) My brother, Brian, is almost 6 years younger than me. He lives in Provo and he and his wife just had their 6th baby. She was born on Thursday morning. Soren is 11, Meghan is 9, Darren is 7, Austin is almost 5, MacKenzie is

2 1/2 and now Sarah. It is great having them so close. My youngest brother, Dwight is almost 13 years younger than me. He lives 20 minutes from my parents. I'm glad he is close to them so he can keep us posted about their health. Families are such a great thing.

First Dance

Ben turned 16 on February 1 and was asked to attend Preference on March 13 by Kajsia Anderson. Ben was a little nervous at first because he had never even met her. She is a junior and Ben is a sophomore. They were attending the festivities with a whole group that he did know so I assured him he would have fun. They went to a new Italian restaurant in Provo in which the whole menu was written in Italian. He was a little worried so he had the waiter order for him, since he was the first one to order. (There were 18 of them.) Well, almost everyone else ordered the same thing. It wasn't very good. :-) He did end up eating the whole thing since his date was paying the bill. The dance was being held at the Springville Art Museum, which is a gorgeous place. The evening was a huge success and as you can tell they made a beautiful couple.

HS All-Star Game

Every year the High School Hockey Assocation puts together an All-Star game. The first night 2 teams are chosen to play each other from the South Division and 2 teams are chosen to play each other from the North Division. From those 2 teams, players are then chosen to play against each other in a North versus South game on a 2nd night. This year, on Monday March 8 Mark & Ben were chosen to play, along with 2 other players from their HS team. Mark & Ben were both chosen again to play on the 2nd night, Wednesday March 10. This was Mark's senior year and 4th year in a row to be chosen. He has enjoyed it every year. This is Ben's sophomore year and his 1st year to be chosen.

Zack is Home!

Zack is home from his mission. He served in Maryland. Welcome home Zack.

Springville Hockey

The Springville Hockey team played their last game of the season on Thursday evening. Their season record is 12-3-2. That is the most games won by the Springville team in its history. Here are a few pictures from the season.

Wisdom Teeth

On February 5, 2010 Mark had his wisdom teeth removed. You can kind of tell from the pictures how he did. When Ed and I went back to the operating room and he still pretty doped up. He was laughing and saying the funniest things. "Dad has two faces" "I lost my tongue" "I am an elephant" My favorite of all though, was when we were in the car on the way home. "One eye, one road, two eyes, four roads" The second picture is on the second day and the third picture is on the fourth day.

We love getting pictures from Jared. Here are few that he sent. Santa is Elder Doman who was Jared's MTC companion. He received the knitted tie from one of the members. The day after Christmas they had 2 baptisms. Life is wonderful.
