Engaged Jared

Jared proposed the question a couple of weeks ago and she said yes.  :-)
Jared has known Amanda since high school and they became reaquainted after he returned from his mission.  Amanda was baptized on March 5 so their wedding date is March 14, 2012 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.  They do have a long engagement but that will give them lots of time to plan the wedding.  We are happy to have Amanda become part of our family.

Missionary Mark

We received a few pictures from Mark a few weeks ago and wanted everyone to see how happy he is.  It looks like Mexico has some beautiful spots.  He did say that he ate the pig but didn't say how he cooked it.  UGH.

Random Ben

Ok, so I thought you might like to learn a little bit about Ben.  Here are some random pictures of him.

Randon Stephen

I have lots of pictures that are just randon pictures so I thought I would share them.  Hopefully this will help you know a little bit more about Stephen.

Hair

Does hair really matter?  :-)   Well, over the last several years Ed has slowly been losing his hair.  I know that it bothers him that he is balding.  It doesn't bother me that he is thinning on top but then I never really thought about it.  Well, after I started chemotherapy I was told around day 17 after the first treatment I would lose all of my hair.  Well, I then began to think about hair.  My natural hair was long and greying.  After I started to lose large clumps of hair I had my good friend Wendy cut my hair.  As of this day, I still have some of my own hair, although it is very thin.  I look like really old lady.  Anyway, I have two wigs that I change between wearing.  I can't seem to bring myself to wear hats or scarves because they look terrible on me.  Does hair really matter?  :-)

Happy Birthday & Cancer Diagnosis

February 24, 2011 was my 46th birthday.  The boys (Ben & Jared) baked me a cake and I received a call from my doctor with the positive test for breast cancer.  Wow!!! The biopsy was done two days before this and then the mastectomy was scheduled for March 18.  I started chemotherapy in April and as of this date I have two remaining treatments.  It has been quite an adventure and I continue to pray that I will learn what it is I'm supposed to learn.  I truly have been blessed and watched over.

Ben's Team

Ben played for the Grizzlies U16 hockey team during the 2010/2011 season.  This is a picture of the team after their tournament in Colorado Springs.  Ed coached this team.
